The AISD HR Recruitment and Talent Selection team processes clearance for all program/university student teachers, interns, practicum, and clinical students in the same manner. Please see below for steps to initiate the clearance process.

Student Teacher/Observer Application
Applications for the 2024-25 school year will be accepted beginning June 1, 2024. However, backgrounds will not be processed until August 1, 2024.
Once an application is submitted, the HR Talent Selection team will notify you with background clearance and next steps. We will work with you and your university/program directly to place you based on your certification area(s). Until then, you are not cleared to start.
