Texas Education Agency (TEA) identifies job-specific statutory compliance training mandated by state law for all district employees. The training is aligned with the duties assigned by position.

When a user logs in to the system, a list of assigned courses and the due dates are displayed. Customized, recurring email reminders will be auto-generated to help employees stay on track with assigned training.

The Safe Schools learning management system can be accessed using your mobile device.�� Some users may have personal configurations that prevent certain courses from loading. If you are experiencing trouble accessing the courses through a mobile device and you do not have access to complete the required training on a laptop or desktop computer, please reach out to your supervisor.

Employees log in to Safe Schools with their Rapid Identity credentials. This is the same username and password used for school district email. The user should remember not to include the “@aisd.net” when entering the username.

Texas Education Agency (TEA) statutory compliance training mandated by state law for all district employees working with students cannot apply towards the twelve (12) hour exchange time. This includes, but is not limited to, bus driver training (CDL license) and safety trainings, such as blood borne pathogens, sexual misconduct, child abuse, FERPA, etc.

No, you do not need to clock in to complete training as all employees are being paid during the closure.

The Human Resources Department will partner with campus administrators and department supervisors to monitor the completion of assigned training for employees. Campus administrators and department supervisors will have access to completion reports in the Safe Schools system, and can track progress of their employees.

Departments such as Security, Food Service, Maintenance & Operations, etc. will work within their teams to complete required training. While their department supervisors are responsible for monitoring completion, they may need the support of the campus administrators and use of campus resources. Campus administrators are encouraged to support department managers and supervisors if needed.

Submitting the certificate of completion is not necessary.�� You are welcome to maintain certificates for your own record.

Recently, the State required annual Cyber Security Awareness training beginning in the 2019-2020 school year.�� To satisfy this year’s requirements, we are required to complete training by June 12, 2020.�� The additional training being added in the fall will satisfy the requirements for the 2020-21 school year.

If you are accessing training from a computer: 1. Restart your browser. 2. Make sure you are using a recent version of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Safari. 3. Make sure your Adobe Flash Player is up-to-date. To download the most recent version, go to get.adobe.com/flashplayer. This only takes around 5 minutes to install. After the download is complete, be sure to restart your computer to activate the newest version.

��If you are accessing training from a mobile device: The Safe Schools system is compatible with many mobile devices, however some users may have personal configurations that prevent certain courses from loading. Additionally, some custom and policy courses are best displayed on a computer. If you are experiencing difficulty loading our training on a personal device, try accessing the courses through a laptop or desktop computer.
