STEM
色窝窝无码一区二区三区 partners with the University of Texas at Arlington for the STEM Academy at Martin High School. Students earn high school and college credit from UTA in engineering, biology/ biomedical science, computer science or math/science pathway. Students in the STEM Academy have a chance to complete 21-32 hours in their college major at UTA before high school graduation. There are also opportunities for internships, mentorships, job shadowing, community service, enrichment programs and summer learning. Since the STEM Academy is located at a comprehensive high school, students have access to fine arts, athletics, clubs and organizations.
ECHS
Early College High School (ECHS) students can earn a high school diploma, industry certifications and an associate degree. Students at Arlington Collegiate High School can earn up 60 hours of free college credit. Students at Arlington College and Career High School earn up to 60 hours of free college credit as well as Level 1 workforce certifications. Additionally, students can participate in a multitude of clubs, organizations, and intramural sports through Tarrant County College.
P-TECH
Pathways in Technology Early College High Schools (P-TECH) offer students the opportunity to earn high school and college credit while attending a traditional high school. Students select a career pathway based on the P-TECH focus on the campus. Work-based learning is embedded at each grade level with opportunities for internships. The P-TECH school within a school model allows students to experience a college environment with access to fine arts, sports and other extracurricular opportunities. The Bowie High School P-TECH focuses on the healthcare field, Lamar P-TECH has business and cybersecurity pathways, Sam Houston P-TECH focuses on Logistics and Mechatronics, and Seguin P-TECH offers pathways in STEM and Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD).
FINE ARTS AND DUAL LANGUAGE
Arlington High Fine Arts and Dual Language Academy (FADLA) provides pathways for students to further enhance their fine arts interests while broadening their language experiences. This program completes the K-12 FADLA programming for students who attended Corey or Jones FADLA, and Gunn Junior High & FADLA. As a FADLA student, additional elective courses may be offered. OPTIONS AND REQUIREMENTS FOR PROVIDING ASSISTANCE TO STUDENTS WHO HAVE LEARNING DIFFICULTIES OR WHO NEED OR MAY NEED SPECIAL EDUCATION
If a child is experiencing learning difficulties, the parent may contact the person listed below to learn about the district鈥檚 overall general education referral or screening system for support services. This system links students to a variety of support options, including referral for a special education evaluation. Students having difficulty in the regular classroom should be considered for tutorial, compensatory, and other support services that are available to all students.
At any time, a parent is entitled to request an evaluation for special education services. Within a reasonable amount of time, the district must decide if the evaluation is needed. If evaluation is needed, the parent will be notified and asked to provide consent for the evaluation. The district must complete the evaluation and the report within 45 calendar days of the date the district receives the written consent. The district must give a copy of the report to the parent.
If the district determines that the evaluation is not needed, the district will provide the parent with a written notice that explains why the child will not be evaluated. This written notice will include a statement that informs the parent of their rights if they disagree with the district. Additionally, the notice must inform the parent how to obtain a copy of the Notice of Procedural Safeguards - Rights of Parents of Students with Disabilities.
