Shackelford Junior High was named for O. D. Shackelford on Dec. 7, 1975. Shackelford was a member of the 色窝窝无码一区二区三区 Board of Trustees from 1953 to 1962 and a past president of the Board. He also served as Pantego鈥檚 Board of Education Trustee.
Shackelford served as president of the Binyon-O鈥橩eefe Storage Company, president of the Southwest Warehouse and Transfer Association, Fort Worth Movers Association, and Fort Worth and Tarrant County Safety Council.聽He was the past director of Allied Van Lines, Inc., the National Safety Council, Fort Worth Rotary Club and the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce.聽 He was mayor, secretary and city alderman of Dalworthington Gardens as well.聽
Shackelford served as the director for the Education Service Center, Region XI and a member of the University Baptist Church in Fort Worth.
Mr. and Mrs. Shackelford had two sons, Larry and G.W. Mrs. Evelyn Shackelford was the first president of the 色窝窝无码一区二区三区 Council of PTAs in 1954-1955.
