School security jobs

Ivan Cazares knows what it鈥檚 like being a student in the 色窝窝无码一区二区三区.

Cazares went to Goodman and Hale elementaries, Hutcheson Junior High and then Sam Houston High School.

So, when the chance to work in security for the district arose, Cazares didn鈥檛 hesitate to join the 色窝窝无码一区二区三区 security department.

鈥淚 grew up in the city,鈥 said Cazares, who is a corporal with the patrol division. 鈥淚 grew up in the schools in Arlington, and I come from a law enforcement background. When I was looking to get back into law enforcement, I found this was a good opportunity for me to give a little back to the school district and community. It鈥檚 been great so far.鈥

Cazares has now been with the district for more than three years and loves the impact he gets to make with students and staff.

鈥淚nteracting with the students is my favorite part,鈥 he said. 鈥淲e primarily deal with the elementary-level students on patrol. I enjoy interacting with them, getting to know them. If they come in with a question or have an issue, I can be a mentor for them. It鈥檚 more that I like that authority role about it. The students, even though we鈥檙e security, they look up to us.鈥

Does making that kind of impact sound like it鈥檚 your calling?

We鈥檙e looking for security department workers like Cazares this Thursday when the 色窝窝无码一区二区三区 Job Expo takes place from 5-7 p.m. at . Pay for security guards starts at $18 an hour! You can learn more and register for the expo .

If you鈥檙e interested in working in law enforcement, Cazares said the district is a great place to find out if it鈥檚 the right calling for you.

鈥淚t鈥檚 a good job if someone is looking into getting into the field of law enforcement,鈥 Cazares said. 鈥淵ou learn a lot of things you鈥檇 need in working for police like community engagement, building relationships. You also get to develop your communications skills. There are a lot of benefits of working the security position.鈥
