College & Career Expo听
It is听that time of year again to听register听for听色窝窝无码一区二区三区鈥檚 annual College & Career Expo.听Our community is invited to attend the听Expo听on March 8, 2022, from 5:30-8听p.m.听at the Dan Dipert Career and Technical听Center.听色窝窝无码一区二区三区 students in grades 9-12 will听also听have the opportunity to听attend a听portion of the College and Career Expo in听their听classes听during the听school听day.听
In addition to the classroom sessions, the in-person portion of the Expo will be taking place at the CTC. More than 70 colleges and local businesses ready to equip students in grades 7-12 with proper guidance and resources for college, internships, and part-time and full-time employment opportunities. 听
The Expo will include sessions focusing on college prep, paying for college and college athletic recruiting and听scholarships. During each session, attendees are welcome to sit in and take notes or they can continue to explore the Expo and speak with representatives from various colleges and local businesses.听
Who will be there?听
Colleges听scheduled听to be in attendance听include听the听University of Texas at Arlington, Dallas Baptist University and others. Admissions mentors will be available to help听students with college preparation questions.听听听
Mentors听from Lockheed Martin听and听inspirED听will听also听be available to speak with听high school students听about employment opportunities upon graduation.听Translation services for Spanish-speaking parents and students will be available throughout the Expo.听
Should I听bring听anything?听
Students are encouraged听to听dress in business professional attire and bring several copies of听their resumes.听
The purpose of the Expo?听
Our district’s vision and goal is a 100% graduation rate from our high schools. The Expo is intended to give students a jump-start on their future college and career goals. The event will provide resources that will aid future graduates with a game plan upon graduation. To register for the Expo, click . Doors will open at 5 p.m.听听
