Parents and their small children anxiously聽waited聽inside Pearcy聽STEM Academy鈥檚 cafeteria.聽Dr. Jackeline Orsini, 色窝窝无码一区二区三区鈥檚 director of early childhood learning,聽and her聽team warmly聽welcomed聽the parents and spoke to聽the聽exuberant聽children.聽
Orsini announced to the families that聽their children are the first recipients of a new pre-K scholarship.聽The children will get to attend pre-K free-of-charge聽for the 2021-22 school year!聽
聽Orsini called each child up to receive a certificate, a small聽gift聽and a backpack full of school supplies for the upcoming school year.聽Each child bounded to the front, and several offered Orsini excited hugs. She told each three- and four-year-old that they would go to pre-K in the 鈥渕ost colorful classroom!鈥
鈥淚鈥檓 proud to be聽a part of a school district that goes above and beyond,鈥 Orsini said after the program.聽鈥淧roviding聽opportunities聽for聽the聽community is聽so important. Pre-K sets the foundation for聽kindergarten, and the goal is free聽pre-K聽for all.鈥澛犅
Nadia Azari,聽one of the district鈥檚 early childhood聽specialists,聽explained how the program鈥檚 curriculum is聽aligned with聽the Texas Education Agency聽and how it focuses on language skills,聽math聽and science.聽The district鈥檚 fun, play-based pre-K curriculum fosters curiosity, exploration and lots of learning.
