Arlington Master Chorale to perform 9/11 memorial concert at the Center for Visual and Performing Arts

罢丑别听听will听commemorate the 20th听anniversary of 9/11 with听a memorial concert at听the听色窝窝无码一区二区三区听Center听for听Visual听and Performing听Arts听this听Saturday, Sept.听11, 2021.听

The all-volunteer chorus, led by their music director Randy Jordan and collaborative pianist Dr. Jane Silvey Andrews, will perform twice on Saturday, at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Jordan, a former director of听music at听Martin High School for 23听years,听is overjoyed to perform at the CVPA.听

鈥淭his facility was done right,鈥 Jordan said. 鈥淭he design and acoustics of the center are outstanding. It is marvelous and is the epitome of fine arts for 色窝窝无码一区二区三区.鈥

The concert will include a performance听of听Adagio for Strings by Samuel Barber, Requiem for the Living by Dan Forrest and a world premiere听by Elaine Hagenberg titled Illuminare. Dr. Allen Hightower will be guest conductor of the Requiem, and composer Hagenberg will be in attendance.

鈥淧eople听will听not only听remember this concert听because it is the听20th anniversary of the tragedy of Sept. 11 but also for the meaning behind each musical number. It will be something the city of Arlington will be proud of,鈥 Jordan said.
