My freshman year of high school I was placed in the Principles of Agriculture聽class because I couldn’t find any other elective that sounded interesting to me. I learned about agriculture and the FFA and a fire was started in me. My passion for agriculture grew more and more with my increased involvement in my ag science classes and聽the wonderful organization of FFA.聽This is my 7th year to teach agriculture science. I am an alum of Martin High School so聽I am thrilled to be teaching the students of AISD!聽My ag teachers in high school are the reason I am where I am today and I strive to be that same advisor for the students of Arlington!
I truly believe that agriculture is the most important industry in the world and that is why I have chosen to educate the future generations. Once in your life you need a doctor, a lawyer, or a policeman, but every day, three times a day, you need a farmer!
