Lady Colt Basketball had the opportunity to hear 2 great leaders in our school talk. We really appreciate Coach Scott and Mrs. Humbles for taking time from their busy schedules to speak to our girls on positive leadership! Coach Scott spoke on being a coffee bean and changing the environment you are in rather than being changed by the boiling waters of adversity. Mrs. Humble spoke on being a leader not only during the good times but especially when things get hard and the importance of being leaders in the classroom and hallways.  Head Coach is Will Floyd; Assistant Coach is Drew Bell. ]]> IMG 6654 scaled

Junior Jayden Thorne-Gillmore clinched the win with an 8-1 victory at the Boys Singles #4 spot, while Senior Maddex Torres secured her 6th consecutive Singles win. Both Torres and Senior Tiago Lujan remain undefeated in Singles this season. Way to go Colts!

We are so proud of our Colts for all of their hard work this year! Thanks again to all of our Colts Teachers and Staff for all that you do for our players! Derek, Jerry, and Daniel will now focus on next week's Region 1 Championship Tournament! Wish us luck as we try to pursue more history this year!

Here are your Colts Tennis medalists from the 8-6A District Championship Tournament yesterday!

They did it! Our Senior boys Derek Gonzalez. and Jerry Rondon won the Boys Doubles District Championship in a trilling, come from behind victory against Lamar in the final. 🥇 This is the first AHS Boys Doubles District Title since 1981!

°¿³Ü°ùÌý Boys Player and last year's District Champ Daniel Gelfert placed second in the Boys Singles Tournament, making the Regional Tournament for back-to-back years!

°¿³Ü°ùÌý Girls Player Maddex T. placed 3rd in Girls Singles! She is the first AHS Girls Singles medalist since Karla Silva in 2018! 🥉
